Guys, I have started receiving number of mails from people explaining their problems and asking for solutions in my personal email (its not that I am complaining) and I have seen lot of people putting their problems as comments in this blog.

Let me tell you reasons why it is not a good idea.

Sending problems in personal Email

I have Job, Family, Website and Siebel Forum to maintain and after giving my time to these I rarely get time to check my personal email and sometimes I don’t check my mail for days. Though I try to respond to as many as I can but by the time I read it and try to respond it is already too late.

Posting Problems as comments

I keep on adding new content very often to this site and if you post your comment in a old post then you problem is tend to get lost as time passes and also site visitor only look at newer posts so chances of somebody else answering your post also gets reduced.
Keeping these things in mind I created Siebel Forum and here are the reasons to join and post you problems in forum.

Forum now has almost 700 members which have worked in various areas in Siebel and if you visit the forum you will notice that most of the topics have responses from other memebers of the forum also and not just me. So, your chances to get an answer to your problem increase dramatically.

Also, it is not possible to solve problems without looking at screenshot or log files and forum gives you the ability to attach these files so that you can get answers to your queries faster.
