Smart Scripts – Common problem faced.

This is a pretty common problem that is faced while working with Smart Scripts. When you try to open smart scripts you receive the following error

The File 1-LRF2_ENU.ssc could not be found on any specified file system. (SBL-UIF-00230)

This reason of this error can be

Changes in Smart Script but the new version has not been released.
Changes in file system which resulted in removal or moving of files present in the file system.

Solution:

Go to Administration – Smart Script and query for the smart script that is giving error.
Click on Release button.

That should solve the problem

Explanation:

When you create smart script a compressed file with extension ssc is stored in file system for the smart script. So, if for any reason files system gets affected and these files are renamed, removed or modified then you will need to recreate these files for smart script to work. This is done by clicking on release button that will result in creation of these files.
