Sorry guys forgot to include the most important information.
As far as the integration with Siebel tools is concerned I have a bad news
.
There is no integration of this editor with Siebel tools
.
You have to copy paste you code in the editor and once you are done then you have to copy paste the code back. It might sound like a very tedious work right now but believe me the time you will save in writing and debugging script will be way less then it will take while working on Siebel tools.
This tool will be especially helpful in debugging and writing client side business services (which I do a lot).
You have to add INI files containing information regarding eScript to make it actually work with eScript.
I have done the hard work of entering the details of eScript.
To use that you can download the software from the following link and just extract it. It should work straight away. If you still face any problems do let me know. I will include the steps I followed to configure it to make it work with eScript.
After you have extracted the software do the following steps to configure it for eScript.
- Click on Setting >> Highlighter Setting from the menu. You will see the window as shown below.

- Click on Specification tab.
- Select an option called unassigned from the box on the left hand side
- Select eScript option from the User Highlighter text box on the right hand side.
This will add a new file type in your list called eScript.
You can easily configure the color codes then from Colors Tab.
