Please Help!!!

Hi Guys,
I need some help or I should say precious few minutes of your time from you fantastic people working in Siebel. I am going for a green belt project in order to create a tool which should help us to reduce our code debugging time and make our code clean and efficient.
I have a prototype ready which I call GS Helper. I am going to share it with you all in few days.
It has features like
- Identification of unused variables
- Identification of undeclared variables
- Identification Objects not nullified
- Invalid functions used.
It is an eScript Analyzer and gives detailed report in HTML format. It is still in early stages but I see lot of room for improvement in it. I need input from you guys to help it make better. I will be registering it under open source license which means that you will be free to use, share and modify it. Please answer the poll below so that I can have some data to go ahead with you Project.

Siebel 8.0 has come up with some debugging tool. One debugging tool is already present in the market I think. need to check first.

there are lot of people running 7.5, 7.7, 7.8 till now and they are nowhere near in upgrading to 8.0.
And I haven’t been able to find even a single tool which is free and and specifically for escript. But if you know about some tool do let us all know so that we can benifit from it

What kind of programming language is the code in? It is a good idea to start this kind of stuff. I really encourage it but without little more specifics it is more difficult to vote on your polls. I am curious. Thanks.

You have a good point. But unfortunately right now that tool can only handle escript but will surely try include vbscript in future versions

Sorry, Could not find free debugging tool but one was mentioned on IT-Toolbox web site. Need to find out. As you said yes, 90% siebel professionals are in 7.8,7.7. It will be definately helpful to them. We will be waiting for the prototype.
