I had said in my New Year post that I have surprise in store for you guys.

Well….. The surprise is out. I am introducing a new section dedicated to Oracle Business Intelligenceor Oracle-BI as popularly known.

Oracle-BI section will be maintained by Rohit who has 2+ experience in Siebel Analytics and Oracle Business Intelligence. Some of you might know him from blogspot blog where he initially started his blog.

We are in process of updating the Oracle-BI section and making few tweaks here and there so in case if you feel something is not working properly, please do let us know we will try to fix it as soon as possible.

This is one step further in making a Siebel Unleashed a one stop website which will have everything related to Siebel. I hope you will like this initiative and help us make it better with your suggestions and feedback.

I will be keeping an eye on your comments and response and see how will can make this site more informative and useful.

Yours Truly
Neel

    Hi Gurdeep,

I'm not very good at analytics as I had undergone training but didn't work on any of it due to lack of projects.

What I understand is that we need to prepare a relationship between the various database objects i.e. with respect to the SQL that has been generated by you.

Based on these relations you would be creation new logical columns in OBIEE and then add these columns to the presentation layer to view it on your front end. which is your dashboard.

Since you already have a functioning SQL it just how you join the various tables together to get the desired result that you would add to the presentation layer and compile your changes to the OBI repository.

    I hope it helps.

    Thanks
