This is probably the simplest of things I have discussed so far in this blog. But still if you are newbie this can be quite helpful to you in order to explore Siebel Tools more.
Siebel Object Explorer is the tab that you see in the left side of Siebel tools when you open it. It is its default placement and you can change it if you want.
By default not all the objects available for use so they are not displayed and also not all the options for default objects are available. You can change the options displayed for a particular object or add new objects in object explorer view by following the steps given below
- Open Siebel tools
- Click on View > Options.
- You will see the window shown below
- There are three modes of checkboxes that you can see in that window
: Object will be shown in object explorer but not all the options will be visible
: Object will be shown will all available options
: Object will not be shown in object explorer- If you wan to see a particular object will all the options just uncheck and check again and check the checkbox for the new objects that you want to see in the object explorer.

- Object available but not all options visible
- Object after all the options are enabled
