  4. Hi,
Nice post. But I see some contradictory information.

You have answered for a question that a server restart is needed when enabling audit trail.

But the bulleted point says restart is not required.

Can you explain if a server bounce is needed, if so when?

    Thanks.

    • Hi Alvin, Yes it is possible to Audit MVG Fields. In Audit Trail – Admin view, Audit Trail BusComp List Applet we have a Check Box “Assoc” we need to check that to TRUE. Then we need to add the MVL in the Child BusComp tab. After this, we need to add the Primary Id Field in the Field Tab of the respective Buscomp.
Update the Audit Cache and test the respective MVG changes.
When we go to Audit Trail under that BusComp, we can see Associate , Disassociate and also Primary changes getting recorded.

But this process don’t show the record name, it will only show the record id. So, its a tedious process for user to copy this id and go to respective child buscomp and query for this record to see which of the records got associated for disassociated.

I am looking for a solution to see the record name directly in the audit trail applet. Does anyone have any ideas on this ?

      Regards,
      Gayathri

  7. Hello… We are experiencing huge issues where audit trail does not get captured in siebel 8.0 if the user who is making the changes has corrupted high interactivity framework. Any idea if Siebel gives the option of keeping 7.x audit trail design with Siebel 8.x
